Some skills are helpful for survival and daily life, the rest are generic and somewhat shitty; though super rare skills only happen once a millennia. Skills have grades and most of society believes it has to do with bloodlines.
Once upon a time, a girl was granted an SSS grade skill. She's a very lucky girl. Unfortunately she got sold off to some nobles and became a living breeding ground that gives birth to high grade offspring for the rest of her life. Bad End.
